Yeah so I haven’t played in about a week with finals and visiting home and everything. I know my posts are emo-ey and what not but after 20k hands of essentially breakeven poker you have to undertstand its frustrating to say the least. With no job obligations and currently no school or anything my plan is to grind 2000 hands per day until I figure out how to win. I am determined and believe I can beat this game it is only a matter of time. I will be disappointed if I play anything less than 30k hands this month.
Sorry about the bad beat posts recently. Nobody likes to hear about them. I’ve got two finals coming up this week, one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday so I think I’ll be taking some time off from poker. In fact, I may be done for the month, because after that I’m going home for a week to visit some friends which should be a good time. I’ll be back to hit the tables hard in May, especially if my internship doesn’t come through for me. We shall see.
This is just getting gross. I’m done for the day.
Is all that I can say about poker lately. I played 600 hands today, lost 3 big ones for full buyins then went on a little bit of tilt and lost 2 pots for 1/2 buyin each. Here’s the 3 big ones.

I made a post on CR asking about my bet sizing but no one really responded. I think it might be better just to shove hand3, but my guess is he was calling either way. I’m now down $305 for the month and have run at 1.1BB/100 for 12k hands at 100NL.
Played 2500 hands today averaging 1BB/100 for a profit of $56. Its a lot of hands for me, but I’m sure not very many for a lot of people. I definitely have some holes in my game I need to get fixed. At least I’m not losing anymore. I’m also slightly positive for the month now.

Oh well – I get my share of luck, though every poker player always seems to think he gets less than everyone else. I’m actually at about $7.7k after this pot. Played about 1200 hands or so today. Classes end tomorrow. Hopefully I can get at least 1200 hands per day for the rest of the week.
After I was breakeven for the month I became really unmotivated to play after like the 19th or something. I started playin in April again, took a shot at 400NL, flopped the nuts and got outdrawn on. I’m now 6tabling $100NL with some success. I think I’ll try to stay here for 30k hands or so. At least I’m not losing anymore.
Ya so I lied. Cash games are too addictive. Its what I first started playing years ago and I can’t keep away from them. I’ve actually had a little bit of success at them this month. Here’ s my graph of the measly 4k hands I’ve played, mostly 2 and 3 tabling. The big dropoff is me getting bad beat a couple times and then just playing badly. We’ll see how things go playing only cash games this month. I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get in at least 15k hands (which is not even very much).
Sorry about my emo post last time. Poker is not going well right now however. Haven’t had time to play that much really. Today I played 12 $60s and 8 $27s so I could get platinum status on stars. Otherwise I wouldn’t have played at all. I ended up winning 2/12 of the 60s and losing the rest of the sngs I played which was pretty frustrating. Most of it was due to bad spots/luck but some of it I’m sure was bad play. I am a little rusty after having not played these for awhile. Been really busy with school lately, getting ready to leave for Europe trip for spring break tomorrow. I’ll be back with avengence next month. March Goals?
1. Have a winning month(failed to do this in February finished down almost $1.3k)
2. Seriously this time I am done with cash games for good no f’ing joke
3. Play around 1000 sngs
