A sad day for me, poker and freedom. I can no long play on Pokerstars.com I was just starting to get things going there too and get my roll up. I REALLY hope fulltilt doesn’t follow suit or else it’s panic time and I will be forced to move out of this city and state I’ve grown to love. The hypocritical lawmakers of Washington State are taking away my livelihood. There are 28 Indian Casinos in the state as well as a state run lottery.

I’ve tried contacting some local media companies KOMO, King 5, Seattle Times and Seattle PI to get them to do a story. No replies yet. You can follow a couple threads on the matter here and here.

Not much else to say… let me know if I can do anything else to help end the ban(already joined the ppa and contacted my legislature obv).

I really hope this gets revoked and the FTP doesn’t follow suit. I imagine it is particularly crushing for you versus most people, because many sites offer 200nl – 600nl 6max nlhe, it’s not terrible tough to find traffic outside of Stars, but finding your games I would think is quite challenging. The only thing I can say is to continue to contact your legislature. I don’t think anything bad would come from that and it lets them know you are serious.
